This is a true, 100 year old, 1926 Martin 2 17 guitar. It is a rare surviving example from the golden era of American guitar building. With all the natural aging and tone that comes with it, the all mahogany construction delivers a dry, woody, immediately responsive voice that only a real pre-war Martin can produce.
This guitar was recently sent directly to C.F. Martin and Co. for full professional service and restoration work to ensure long term playability and stability.

Condition
As expected for a hundred year-old guitar, cosmetic wear is present throughout including finish checking, small scratches, and patina. These signs reflect honest age rather than neglect and add to its authenticity. Structurally, the guitar is solid and fully sorted after its factory service. It will play on for many years to come.
