Martin 0-17T Tenor Guitar 1952
This Martin 0-17T Tenor guitar first left the Martin factory in 1952. It recently went back for a visit. A visit to the Martin Factory Repair Shop to be exact. It underwent restoration work that included resetting the neck and bridge and fitting a new bone saddle, a full re-fret, and repair of a crack on the top and a crack on the back. This work was costly, but the results show how a labor of love can really pay off in terms of recapturing the essence of what a 73 year-old guitar was like when it left the factory the first time. We have no doubt this is one of the finest 0-17T Tenor guitars around. It has a really nice setup and amazing tone and playability. The construction is Mahogany top, back and sides and neck. It retains its Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, original bridge and headplate. If you have been looking for "THE" Martin Tenor guitar, this is it!
