Martin Custom Shop D-41

Martin Custom Shop Dreadnought – High Altitude Swiss Spruce & Premium Cocobolo

This exceptional Martin Custom Shop dreadnought pairs a premium Grade 7–8 High Altitude Swiss Spruce top with visually stunning Premium Cocobolo back and sides. Inspired by Style 41, this guitar combines some of Martin’s most desirable tonewoods with elegant Custom Shop appointments.

The Cocobolo is truly the highlight of this guitar, with an incredible natural appearance that immediately stands out. European Flamed Maple binding and Style 45 mosaic back purfling provide a beautiful contrast and frame the Cocobolo perfectly.

The premium High Altitude Swiss Spruce top is paired with forward-shifted, scalloped Golden Era bracing with hand shaping, giving this dreadnought the construction and responsiveness expected from a high-level Martin Custom Shop build. Abalone perimeter pearl and a Style 45 abalone rosette complete the top appointments.

Additional appointments include a Premium Cocobolo headplate with a select abalone CFM block logo, black ebony fingerboard with Style 45 reduced-hexagon abalone inlays, and an ebony GE Modern Belly bridge.
