Bourgeois Victorian Concert Parlor
Bourgeois Concert Victorian Parlor – Alpine Spruce & Figured Koa
This stunning Bourgeois Concert Victorian Parlor features an Alpine Spruce top paired with an exceptional set of highly figured Koa back and sides.
The Concert Parlor is a new body design from Bourgeois Guitars, combining the comfort and intimacy of a traditional parlor with the power, balance, and responsiveness Bourgeois is known for. Its 25” short scale gives the guitar an incredibly comfortable feel while retaining impressive projection and presence for a smaller-bodied instrument.
At the heart of this guitar is Bourgeois’ renowned hand-voicing process. Each soundboard is individually evaluated and voiced, with the top and bracing carefully worked to bring out the natural tonal characteristics of that particular piece of spruce. Combined with Aged Tone torrefied bracing, the result is a lively and responsive guitar with excellent clarity, balance, and dynamic range.
The appointments are equally impressive. Candy Rope Herringbone purfling and rosette, Ziricote binding, abalone fingerboard inlays, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and gold Waverly tuners with ebony buttons beautifully complement the dramatic figuring of the Koa.
